What is a human-induced regeneration (HIR) project area?

The ‘project area’ refers to the area of land on which the project activities (e.g. control of grazing by livestock and feral animals) are undertaken. In most cases, the project area is simply the boundary of the property on which the project is being conducted. It is shown on the Explorer as a purple line.
