The Clean Energy Regulator has re-started crediting HIR projects. The Chubb Review recommended that crediting be paused until projects were assessed as to whether or not they complied with method requirements. There are concerns about the stringency of the standards that the Regulator has set for the assessment of projects and the quality of assessments undertaken by the Regulator. It is not clear why the Regulator has started re-crediting.
